7 Tips For A Healthy 2018

2018 is finally here so that means a new year to conquer, learn and experience.
 
Along with a new year comes resolutions and this can often feel a little overwhelming. However, not to worry! Below are 7 tips to help you live a happy and healthy 2018!

 

 

It is OK to say NO

There comes a time when you just have to say NO. With this New Year look after yourself more. Take time to actually take care of yourself. It is not selfish to want to put yourself first every once in a while.
 
So, if you find that you are constantly being asked to do stuff and you feel like you are inundated with too much don't be afraid to say no.

 

Get Strong

Get strong both physically and mentally. Lift some weights. I truly believe that lifting weights leads to both physical and mental strength. Many women avoid resistance training because they fear looking bulky, which will not happen. If you want to achieve that lean look, then resistance training is the way to go.

 

Destress

This year you make time for yourself, do stuff that makes you feel happy and confident. We all in need some time to ourselves and some self-care no matter who or what we do.

 

Never Forget Your Veg

Vegetables should be found on each and every one of your meals. Many people fail to eat enough and that the average amount consumed is fewer than 3 portions of veg. I know that there are vegetables that don't taste nice or look very appealing, but here are 11 ways to eat more veg.
 




 

Eat Fat

It's time to put an end to the low-fat diet and begin including more healthy fats into your diet. Healthy fats are important for our overall health, both physical and mental. Countless studies are showing the benefits of consuming fat for the brain. Prioritise Sleep

Never underestimate the importance of sleep.
