After being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) when I was 18 years old and having to overcome and manage various symptoms that accompany a PCOS diagnosis, such as; weight gain that is when my passion for health and nutrition began. I had to learn and understand my body, in order to manage the symptoms. With a change in lifestyle, correct nutrition, exercise and stress management, I was not only able to manage my PCOS, lose the weight gained but also live a lifestyle with no restrictions and that is what I want to help you do. Whatever circumstances are holding you back, I am here to tell you, you are in charge!
I have always had a passion for fitness from a young age, taking part in all sports from football and athletics. As I got older my interests shifted while still being passionate about football I began falling in love with the gym, more specifically the weight rooms. While many women stray away from this part of the gym, for fear of becoming 'bulky', it was a place where I could not only change my physique but also test not only my body's strength but also my mind.
Fitness is also a key component in allowing me to manage my PCOS.
My passion for nutrition, fitness and helping others achieve a healthy lifestyle led to me becoming a Certified Personal Trainer and creating PCOS and Nutrition. My mission is to educate and provide you with the tools and knowledge to take back control and live the life you dreamed, once and for all!
