Braun Silk Epil 7 Review
There is one thing women can agree on and that is hair removal sucks!
Hair removal can be a such a burden and a pain, however, thankfully there are plenty of hair removal options to help you find which one is best for you. After becoming fed up of waxing and the cost of it, I decided to invest in an epilator. I did some research and checked out the various epilator products available. I came across the Braun Silk Epil 7 and have now been using it for over 5 years and it has been great!
One of the best things about Braun epilators is that they always come with a number of different heads for different uses. This epilator comes with five head accessories. One shaver head and trimmer head, a precision cap for the sensitive and intricate body parts, an efficiency head to help ease down the pain from the tweezing, and finally a facial cap for easy hair removal from upper lip area and chin.
As with all epilators (or any hair removal treatment), there is bound to be some degree of pain. The pain at first was a shock, but I quickly got used to and really doesn't bother me now. However, a great feature with this epilator is that you can use in water and the water actually makes it hurt less.
It was really easy to use, however, it is important to note that when you are using the epilator make sure you don't move it too quickly, as it won't have time to grip the hair as it you drive up the leg, and therefore you will have to keep going over it.
The Braun epilator works extremely well and is great at removing dead skin as well as leaving skin smooth and supple. I do want to metion here, however, that you need exfoliate. Exfoliate often to help prevent ingrown hairs.
Another feature is the really bright light on the side too so that you can see where the hair that needs to be removed is, which really comes in handy.
I have noticed that for me, the ankle seems to be the most sensitive and painful part of the leg. Possibly start a little further up your leg, and go back to the ankles.
The charger is one of those which requires you to have an adaptor plug, which is less than ideal if you don't have one of those power points.
It may not be as fast as shaving, however, it still is a lot faster and cheaper than waxing. I would say the only slight annoyance is that it won't work while charging, so you do need to remember to charge it after using.
I highly recommend the Braun Silk Epil 7.
