Coconut Cake Recipe



Looking for a new cake recipe? Then why not try this coconut cake recipe. This cake is irresistible, it is light and fluffy with just enough sweetness to it.




5 Eggs

3 Tbsps Olive oil Butter

1 Glass Sugar

1 Glass Desiccated Coconut

2 Glasses Flour

3 Tsps Baking Powder

3/4 Glass coconut Milk


Ingredients for Syrup


1 Glass Sugar

1 Glass Water

Few Lemon Juice Drops




Whisk the butter with the sugar. Then add in the egg yolks and continue to whisk. Alternately add the flour and baking powder and the milk to the batter, making sure you mix well.


Add in the desiccated coconut and lastly add in the egg whites. Stir and mix all ingredients together well.
Cook in a round cake tin on a medium temperature, 350 degrees F, Gas Mark 4 for 1 hour.
Once cooked pour the syrup evenly over the cake and sprinkle some desiccated coconut on top.
