How Many Calories Do I Eat?
I receive many questions on all my social media platforms, my website contact form and via emails. I absolutely love receiving these questions and being able to help you all on things PCOS, nutrition, training and lifestyle, however, there is one question I tend to avoid answering.
Frequent questions I get asked are, "how many calories do you eat?", "how many grams of carbohydrates do you eat?", "what diet do you follow?", and many other questions relating to this realm of calories and diets. The thing is I never give an answer to these questions because I like to keep these details private and I will explain the reason why I do not respond with the answer people are looking for.
We are all different, our bodies are not the same and therefore it is completely useless knowing how many calories I consume or someone else consumes.
My height, weight, training, metabolism and muscle mass dictate the number of calories my body needs to eat.
Your activity level and your training goals may also differ from mine. For example, training is based around lifting weights, with my goal of building muscle and getting strong, whereas your training may be running or your goal may be to lose weight, therefore our caloric intake will not be the same.
If I told you how many calories I eat this will not help you and I do not want you to base your caloric intake around mine. You have to find out how many calories your body needs, its all about experimenting and finding out what works for you.
If you would like to know your nutritional requirements I offer nutritional consultations and coaching.
