My Top 5 Podcasts
Podcasts are on the rise and why not. Rather than listening to music, why not listen to a podcast while on your commute and be immersed in an abundance of knowledge in a matter of seconds. Podcasts range from 30 minutes to even 2 hours and they can cover any topic you like from health, nutrition, fitness, self-love, business, success. Everyone is listening to them and enjoying them. Here are my top 5 podcasts. I warn you I do listen to a range of podcasts!
Ben Coomber Radio
I have been listening to Ben Coomber's podcast for years and I highly recommend it. Ben is a performance nutritionist and coach and he brings guests to discuss various topics from exercise, nutrition, self-care and mindset. Along with guest post interviews, he also answers listeners questions using an evidence-based approach. Ben is highly knowledgeable offering insightful information in all podcast episodes whether they'd be long interviews and shorter solo discussions. Not only will you learn something from Ben's podcast but you will also laugh from the banter that is thrown in!
The JRE podcast is a popular one and one recommended by many. Joe Rogan is a comedian, UFC colour commentator, and actor. Joe brings on a whole host of guests and they discuss topics from politics, society, comedy. It is a great podcast that you will really learn from and enjoy.
Amy Medling PCOS Diva podcast is one I really recommend, I have not come across many PCOS podcasts but Amy's one is definitely one you should check out. Amy is a health coach and she brings on various professionals, from doctors, nutritionists, dietitians and they discuss a range of topics from all things PCOS, to self-healing and mindset. The PCOS Diva podcast is highly informative and I can guarantee you that you will learn something new.
TED Radio Hour
If you like TED Talks, you will love TED Radio Hour. Each episode is centered on a specific topic such as happiness, success or power. Guy Raz, the host, will then interview key TED speakers who have touched on these topics to produce a show which is filled with inspiring stories, motivational individuals, innovative approaches and thought-provoking ideas. This podcast is very eye-opening, it is definitely great if you are someone who likes learning about new things but also likes to delve deeper into topics.
I love this podcast. Maddy Moon and her podcast, more specifically her Mind Body Musing podcast really helped me when I was overcoming my eating disorder and look at food and training different. Maddy is a transformational life coach and she brings on guests in which they discuss various topics from eating disorders, loving yourself, respecting your body, to hormones and finding happiness. If you are looking to take charge of your life I highly recommend giving Maddy Moon's podcast a listen.
